Does a career in counseling interest you? Then The University of Northern Colorado’s Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling might be for you!

This high-demand field is focused on helping improve the quality of life for people with cognitive, physical, sensory, psychiatric, and other disabilities. Rehabilitation counselors from UNC graduate with specialized skills in assessment and counseling techniques in the social, psychological, and medical aspects of disabilities.

Students in our program are eligible for certification as rehabilitation counselors (CRC) and licensure as professional counselors (LPC) through CACREP accreditation. In addition, our program is ranked 13^th nationally (US News World & Report) and UNC graduates have nearly 100% placement in the field.

UNC’s Rehabilitation Counseling program was just awarded a new, five-year grant from the U.S. Department of Education. This provides significant student funding and the possibility of earning a master’s degree in counseling without thousands of dollars in student loan debt. The program’s hybrid format offers both online and on-campus courses.
