Important note: If you took Phys 1110 within the last 2 years, the ONLY thing you need to purchase is access to flip it physics. The tutorial books, mastering physics and e-text access you purchased for Phys 1110 are good for Phys 1120 as well!

  • Access to FlipItPhysics prelecture system

Create an account and purchase access at www.flipitphysics.com. Course access key: CUPHYS1120FA19

If your were not a Phys 1110 student recently, you will also need to purchase the 3 items below, which are sold as a single bundle at the CU bookstore. Do not buy the tutorial books online - they are a custom CU edition, only available from the bookstore.

  • "Essential University Physics," Volume 2, 3rd edition, by Wolfson (e-text or optional hardcopy)
  • "Tutorials in Introductory Physics," 2-book set, Custom CU Edition, by McDermott/Shaffer.
  •  Access to MasteringPhysics online homework system

Note that there are various options for the reading associated with this course. You can use the e-text version of Wolfson included with your MasteringPhysics access, you can purchase an optional hardcopy of the same textbook, or you can use Prof Dubson's free chapter notes that accompany this course.

Additional required items:

  • An iClicker (registered on myCUinfo)
